Our Build Process For Residental Buildings

1. Sales Process

Let's get started! Consult with our knowledgeable team to discuss your needs and dreams for your Edmonton custom house. Our skilled staff will be your guide whether you have previously constructed or are new to house development. We will make certain that your construction experience with us is a pleasant one. Throughout this initial phase, you will:

Obtain a sales agreement for the Alberta New Home Warranty Program.
Choose the kind of home you desire or make adjustments to an existing home design.
Choose the exterior colours for your house.
Collaborate with a drafting technician to create preliminary drawings.
Specification will be discussed.

2. Design Process

Browse our database of house designs or construct your own. We accept alterations to our basic designs as an Edmonton custom house builder. This encompases alterations in construction, square footage, interior design, and engineering. We wish to provide you with the house of your dreams. You will be actively involved in the design process; after all, it is your unique house. Please keep in mind that designs in certain developments are subject to architectural and developer guidelines.

3. Administration Process

4. Pre-Construction Process

5. Selection Process

It's time to go shopping... At AEC, we don't restrict your options; instead, we connect you with reputable vendors so you can discover exactly what you're looking for. At your pre-construction meeting, you will get your Supplier Visit Schedule, which will define the vendors you will visit as well as shopping dates. You will meet with our interior designer, who will assist you in blending your selections in a tasteful manner. Among the visits are:

6. Construction Process

The construction has begun! Your home is starting to take shape. At this point, your decisions must be formalised and documented in order for the construction process to proceed properly. Please contact the Construction Manager if you have any questions during the building process.

7. Pre-Possession

Your house is nearly ready... In order to give you time to prepare, we will provide you 30 days' notice in writing before taking possession of your home. Normally, the date is chosen after the work is finished. You will get a Statement of Adjustments, which lists any alterations, around two weeks prior to taking ownership.

8. Possession

Your anticipated date has arrived! Please be mindful to settle with banks and attorneys in order to minimise delays. Once you've finished these last stages, you may relax in your new home.
